Copaifera Officinalis Resin
Copaiba Balsam (Clarified), Oleoresin is produced via wild harvesting. The scratching & drilling of holes in a tree bark provides an oleoresin balsam from the bark. The material is then "Clarified" by gently warming & centrifuging the Balsam which subsequently cleans the material.

This light woody fragranced oil is native to the Brazilian amazon. Utilised by both by its Amazonian locals & the wider cosmetic market as an ingredient to soothe muscle ache hence its popularity in massage blends. A warming oil, it blends well with other essential oils such as Jasmine & Sandalwood.

As ever, being an oleoresin it contains more therapeutic compounds than the distilled oil version & this oleoresins is oil soluble!
