Dalbergia Sissoo Wood oil
The volatile oil obtained by the steam distillation chipped wood of Dalbergia Sissoo.
A warm, spicy, woody note, this oil is popular for its distinct aroma in perfumery & fragrance. Very popular in perfumes and fragrances.
Rosewood has now become subject to restrictions in order to prevent the over-exploitation of the threatened trees. Therefore, supply is limited. Most commercial users are switching to Ho-Wood which is sustainable. Ho-Wood is equally rich in natural linalool but does lack the intensity of Rosewood.
